From the Editor
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Welcome to the first new edition of Mere Thelema. Again. We've been here before, you and I, not too long ago. The previous site was workable, to be fair, but still little more than the blog aggregator that we worked very hard to avoid in the first place. The mission of Mere Thelema is to raise the quality of the reading experience and not merely collect content that sits unread and unused past its publication date.
To do this, we needed a publishing platform, and so many out-of-the-box solutions did little more than reinvent the WordPress wheel. From PDF downloads to audio versions of articles to a whole new editorial workflow, I've detailed many of the new features in this issue's From The Editor's Desk article, Introducing the New Mere Thelema. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how easy the website and its surrounding ecosystem are to use as different platforms come online over the next year or so—especially the next two, Thelemica and Pilgrimage, which take research and study, and spiritual formation, to all new levels our community has never had in the past.
Our goal is to provide a quality publication for people who want to read rather than consume, for people who want to write rather than just appeal to an algorithm, for people who are interested in thinking rather than rage bait.
One of my favorite verses from the Book of the Law is "Success is your proof; courage is your armour; go on, go on, in my strength; & ye shall turn not back for any!" (AL 3:46). If we believe this, if we hold to this, then the success of Mere Thelema thus far is a solid foundation on which to "go on" and "turn not back for any."
One thing that will change is how often you hear from me and other members of our team. These emails, newsletters, and updates will become far more regular in your inbox. As always, you can turn off notifications and emails. We hope you'll stay connected with us, but we respect your choices about what you want to read.
Thank you for being an integral part of the Mere Thelema readership. I look forward to seeing it grow even more with your support and encouragement.
Love is the law, love under will.

PS: One thing to note—we have migrated our user list from WordPress to the new ecosystem. That does not, however, include your password. Your email should be the same for login, and just use our password reset feature to get back into your profile. Then feel free to update that as you see fit! It's all yours.
